My book Journey, the first book of the Pull of the Sister Moon Series, is now in its formatting stage!! I am so very excited! I love previewing the way it will look like as an E-Book and paperback. I am still loving my cover, and I am writing all the important things that make the book complete; dedication, acknowledgements, book description, and author bio. So much to do!
Tentative date is Oct 15, 2021! I am hoping to make this happen.
I imagine most of us are feeling stressed by current events, so I hope everyone is taking time to make sure they are OK. I am still writing in the amazing wonderland of the Smokey Mountains, where the patter of rain predominates the sounds around me as the leftovers of the tropical storm Ida comes through. I am grateful for safe haven, and I send positive energy in my prayers and thought to those hit so drastically in the storm’s clutches.
I’m writing every day and also making sure I am keeping the creative energy refreshed. Writing has been such a release of stress and an outlet for my creativity, and it has led me to be joyful for my happiness.
By day, I'm busy crafting my second book, and children's books and saving the world from bad grammar. I enjoy doing my “side hustles”; Beta reading and editing for other aspiring writers. Great writers inspire others to write, this is why most writers are readers too! Reading as a writer helps me strengthen my skills in communication and storytelling. More importantly, it helps me become a more persuasive person, and also the writers I read and edit for, which I believe is an essential skill to have.
