Hello, dear readers! I'm so happy to welcome you to September, a month that is very special for me. Not only is it my birthday month, but it's also the month that I'm launching my second book in the Alasa and Merry's Adventures series along with my co-writer granddaughter, Gwyneth Robertson-DuBois! We are super excited to share this new story with you, and hope you'll love it as much as we do.
The second book in the Alasa and Merry's Adventures series is almost complete, as I mentioned earlier. This next installment, titled Sisters of Fire and Water, is a thrilling and engaging story that is ideal for middle school readers. In the book's course, they will encounter fresh challenges, forge new friendships, and embark on exciting adventures.
The sisters have grown into young women in the second book. Alasa has embraced her changeling nature, and the sensation of her dragon scales against her fingertips sends shivers of excitement down her spine. Despite her role as queen in her father's realm, she yearns for the thrill of adventure that comes with her dragon form. Throughout the book; she encounters new allies and foes, their voices echoing through the vast expanse of the world around her.

One thing that I enjoyed the most about writing this book was creating new characters that add more depth and diversity to the story. One of them is Prince Hasan, a handsome and mysterious royal who can turn into a Phoenix. Though his role was brief in the first book, he now plays a crucial part in the story and will stun you with his secrets and actions.

While it may seem like I've left out Merry in my description of the second book, I promise that's not the case. In fact, Merry has a lot going on in this book, and I'm excited to share snippets with you in my next blog post. Stay tuned!
I am excited to share this book with all of you. The crisp pages are ready to transport you to a world full of adventure and wonder. I will keep you updated on the progress with the sound of my keyboard clicking away, as I type out the final edit. Throughout this month, I will share some more sneak peeks of new characters, each with their own unique smell and feel. Stay tuned and thank you for your unwavering support!
Cheers!
Lynda
